8 Ways to wear a skater skirt

Versatile, ever-trendy, and universally flattering: Few pieces of clothing hit this fashionable trifecta quite like the skater skirt. Fitted at the waist and flared out into an A-line silhouette, (reminiscent of a figure skating outfit—hence the name!) this classic staple comes in an endless array of fabrics, colors, and patterns, meaning there's a version out there to suit ever personality and solve any wardrobe dilemma. They're season-less, but we particularly love them in mini lengths and pretty colors for summer.

#1: Ashley Tisdale: black and white ensemble
This organza skirt is totally versatile. A cute tee and moto boots would create the ideal outfit for a day out downtown, but we're loving this posh ensemble—Ashley's crisp white blouse, structured jacket, and edgy heels dress up the wardrobe essential.

#2: Stephanie Scott's pattern play

A basic skirt sporting a sweet print is a total closet must. Layer up with different motifs and textures for a whimsical daytime getup, or stick with complementary solids for a fun yet polished look.

#3 Rihanna's cool color ( personally my favorite)

Lending itself to both the neon and pastel trends we're seeing this season, it's no wonder minty blue is one of summer's most sought-after hues. Rihanna's off-stage style has been on the sportier side lately, but we love her A-line skirt paired with a breezy blouse.

#4 Ariana Grande's Sweet pleats ( loved it!)

Ariana is all about girly-chic both on and off the red carpet, so she knows how to rock a pretty skirt with aplomb. Here, white pleats add a ballerina flavor to her baby pink pumps and floral top.

#5 Emma Robert's blue jean twist ( the worst for me)

Think of this as an on-trend upgrade from your standby cutoff shorts. Dress up a denim circle skirt the same way you would your favorite pair of skinny jeans, or top it off with a basic tee for a super-easy outfit.

#6 Jade Thirwall's rockabilly take:

The Little Mix member brings kitschy, retro flavor to her black leather version with a collared blouse, a perky hairbow, and baby pink oxfords paired with ankle socks.

#7 Taylor Swift's preppy perfection  ( madly in love with it!)

Taylor has proved her fashion chops onstage and on the red carpet, but we have to give her major props for making us want to sport sneakers with flippy skirts, like, all the time. Her contrasting blues, vintage sunnies, and bright white low tops are totally boardwalk-ready.

#8 Miranda Cosgrove's Luxe version

A cool quilted pattern and a banded hem glam up this style staple. Miranda goes for a monochrome statement with a graphic tee and fabulous peep-toe platforms.

whats your favorite?

being a SLUT is not SEXY!

Good morning WFA addict,
Recently, I Have noticed some changes in the concept of sexiness, which many define as, the less you cover, the more you attract, well wake up and lets make some changes to this definition.
lets start with Duchess Kate

outfit details: The white Spitalfields silk-satin gown, which has cap sleeves and a Honiton cotton lace overlay, was created to resemble the dress that Queen Victoria wore for her marriage to Prince Albert in 1840.

Kate Middleton, a well known figure for her elegance and style, shows exactly and clarifies my point., we can clearly see HRH very stylish in ceremonies, meetings,,,etc yet covering many of her body parts unlike those who assume being naked is being sexy!

Recently, in my news feed maybe or in the streets, day and night, Ive seen so many girls SHOWING OFF by being proud of being NAKED (not literally naked), I wonder their DADDY'S reaction once he sees them dressed like that, will it be " HYT dad you look hot !" or " isnt that too short dad". I am not talking from a religious point of view since Im not that conservative person, but let us take it from the societal perspective, you can never know who is looking at your body and what goes through his mind.

another point, by covering certain areas of your body, you can hide some defects, and look in a better shape. while those how adore "sluty" outfits who their bodies do not allow, you like baby Dumbo ( the flying elephant )in his circus shows :)

wear what suits you, not what magazines show you, know what your body is, not what your "body wanna be" is.

know what in where: what to wear, where to wear it. streets are not a place to show off your hot body :)

SO FOR THOSE CUTE TEENAGERS, believe me your hot prince charming wont find it sexy anymore if he get used to you not dressed, you will no longer be able to tempt him.

thats just my own  point of view , some may not agree and others will :)
XOXO

Lea made it fabulous with her very simple casual outfit, shows how a girl can turn into a diva without over dressing. being natural is what makes her GLOW! her hair, style, and pretty face made her one of my favorite divas i stay tuned for their very next upcoming post.
lea's look for today is so casual , suits any girl who looks forward staying classy and elegant yet simple.
 outfit details:
BURBERRY scarf
Zara blazer
Current Elliot Pants

Christian Louboutin sneakers
and last but not least, pretty face by God's creation

Concealer

to start this post i would like to clarify some important points about concealer.
WHY:
Concealer is primarily used to cover any imperfection on your face or body. Concealer can cover up bleimishes, scars, redness, etc...the possibilities are endless.
WHAT TO PICK:
it is always best to get a concealer that is about 1 or 2 shades lighter than your foundation/skin tone.
RECENTLY,
by  scrolling through some photos on WFA, or maybe while going out, I FIND so many girls misunderstanding the concept of concealer so this post will make it clearer, hopefully.
for those who apply concealer as " i was tanning and forgot my sunglasses on " method, PLEASE, and i beg PLEASE STOP IT! concealer should be used with maximum of 2 degrees lighter than your skin tone, not as giving your youngest brother crayons and letting him color your eyes orbits!!
the whole use of concealer is to hide any scars, and mostly dark skins, not to hide your natural skin color !!!!
think about it :)

2014, full of color equilibrium

The Pantone Color Institute has released its spring 2014 color trends forecast for men and women and it seems like the warm months of 2014 will be defined by a balanced approach. If the past seasons brought a multitude of intense colors, this year is somewhat more balanced since there are also a few neutrals in the Institute's top ten shades list.Leatrice Eiseman, Pantone Color Institute’s executive director is the first to notice this interesting change and stated that: “What’s interesting is we’re seeing exciting and fashionable colors as well as more neutral ones. It’s not as though everyone is willing to wear the bright colors from recent seasons head-to-toe. There needs to be equilibrium, and that is a more serious word than balance. The world still needs the stability of soft neutrals but we’re not just talking about gray, beige and taupe,” WWD.com reports.
Blue tones will steal the spotlight in the spring 2014 season. The most popular color for women for spring 2014 is Dazzling Blue, while for men Placid Blue tops the list of the most popular colors for spring 2014, according to forecasts.

Number two in top 10 women's Pantone colors spring 2014 is Violet Tulip, a sophisticated pigment which flatters many skin tones. The first six positions of the top are reserved for refined, vibrant tones: Radiant Orchid, Celosia Orange, Freesia and Cayenne. The last four positions are reserved  more versatile tones: Pacid Blue, Paloma, Sand and Hemlock

The tones Placid Blue, Paloma, Dazzling Dlue, Cayenne, Sand, Celosia Orange and Freesia are found in both of the tops. The other tones from the top ten Men's Pantone colors are magenta purple, comfrey and purple haze.
The news comes right in time for Spring 2014 Fashion Week and we simply can't wait to see how these color trends will materialize in the new spring 2014 collections from the industry's most influential leaders. Stay tuned for the hottest collections for spring 2014 from all of the four fashion capitals.Pantone Spring 2014 Color Trends List

 how to contour your face:

If you were blessed with naturally chiseled cheekbones and a structured jawline, then lucky you. But for those who need a little sculpting in that department, let this step-by-step map be your guide on contouring like a pro.
Makeup artist Lauren Cosenza shows and tells us how it's done.
1. Prep your face with two shades of base. "Dot on a foundation that's one shade lighter than your skin tone in the center of your face, and another that's one shade darker than your complexion around the perimeter," explains Cosenza.
2. Blend the two shades. "Using a blending brush with natural and syntheic bristles, blend the two shades on your face to create the subtle illusion of depth and dimension." The MAC Duo-Fibre #130 Brush was used above.
3. Map the contours and highlights of your face. "Mark the areas you want to contour — the hollows under your cheekbones, your temples, along your hairline, jawline, the sides of your nose, the tip of the nose, and the crease of your eyes — with a deeply-colored brow gel pencil," says Cosenza. Brow gel pencils are really concentrated, yet very smudgeable and it's easy to control the placement of their dark pigment, making it perfect for contouring, she adds. "Next, use an all-over cream highlighter on the tops of your cheekbones, on the center of your forehead, the bridge of your nose, the center of your chin, and on your cupids bow.
4. Blend the two for a flawless finish. "Create that sculpted airbrushed effect using a flat top dense brush to buff out the two shades to perfection," adds Cosenza.
Lastly, bump up the contours and highlights with MAC Sculpt and Shape Powders and consider yourself contoured!
